NOTICIAS:
Crysis 3 isn’t the end of Franchise – New Details confirm Side Missions, New Nano-Suit Powers, Psycho is Back!"Es uno de los temas que vamos a tratar a lo largo del juego".
Crytek: Crysis 3 is as wide as Crysis 1, as tall as Crysis 2New Crysis 3 details have been leaked from a gaming magazine Playbox which suggest that Crysis 3 wont be the last installment in the Sci-Fi FPS franchise. Other than this Crysis 3 would feature all new side missions, new nano suit powers, New factions and the return of an old buddy – Psycho (CRYSIS Warhead’s protagonist).
According to the magazine, Steven Hall would be writing the game. Story would revolve around Prophet (Alcatraz) imprisoned by CryNet which would also mark the time interval between Crysis 2 to 3. After the ending of the second part a Global invasion by Ceph took place and it would be shown in the game what happened to the rest of the world after the invasion.
Now the most interesting part, Crysis Warhead’s Protagonist aka Psycho who also accompanied us at the begging parts of Crysis 1 is also back in the game, Uncertain though if he would be a playable character. Crynet and Ceph would not be the only hostile factions, There would be others though they are not detailed yet. Newer Ceph enemies would include a brute with a flamethrower. The setting would also feature animals like the original Crysis such as giant frogs.
The word would be less destructive compared to Crysis 1 and would feature a sandbox setting along with several side missions. A few concept arts show the outside the New York dome would be a frozen wasteland like in Crysis 1 after the alien invade the island. New powers would allow us to hack alien turrets and control their weapons which was also confirmed in a interview with a Crytek official. Speed and Power abilities are now split like Crysis 1.
The game launches in Spring 2013 for PC, PS3 and 360.
The First Crysis 3 DetailsMuch as we adored Crysis 2, we'll admit that it lacked a certain girth in comparison to the first Crysis. The bust-up New York setting afforded plenty of things to jump on, but when it came to lateral movement, the options were limited. Crysis 3, thankfully, has other ideas.
UPDATE: This article was based on an interview posted by Metro which has since been removed, and will be reposted on Tuesday 24th April. At EA's request, we have removed the content duplicated here. The only information currently, officially confirmed is in our existing Crysis 3 news story.
Accordingly, all we can tell you right now is that it's out early 2013 for Xbox 360 and it's a "a thrilling mix of sandbox gameplay, advanced combat and hi-tech human and alien weaponry that shooter fans will love," according to dreamboat Crytek CEO Cervat Yerli.
There are some jungle-filled screenshots to look at as well.
Crysis 3 a “spiritual successor” to the original Crysis, says Crytek bossEA are back but this time with good news, the return of nano-suited super-soldier Prophet for Crysis 3 on PC and consoles in Spring 2013.
Early screenshots show Prophet scrambling through New York again, but time, and the malevolent Cell Corporation, haven’t been good to the Big Apple. Like Enslaved: Jouney To The West, Crysis 3‘s bleak vision of the future is one retaken by nature – the broad avenues and towering skyscrapers are completely overgrown, a none-too-subtle fusion of the first two games’ polarized settings.
It’s pretty though, not that that should surprise anyone. Crysis games were always, visually at least, leagues ahead, and Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli said:
‘Leveraging the latest CryEngine technology, we’re able to deliver seven unique themes that offer stunning and visually loaded gameplay experiences.’
Those seven unique themes are the districts, The Seven Wonders, that NY has been divided into in Prophet’s absence, by the Cell Corporation, who’ve encased the city in a field of Nanodomes, allowing the city to go all Eden Project without civilization getting in the way. The Corporation’s motives are hardly humanitarian, or conservationist for that matter, it’s a bid for world domination and you can bet they’re not going to be rolling out the red carpet when the game ships.
The aliens are back too, and to help you take them on a third time, Crytek have ‘enhanced’ the nanosuit, (with what though, remains to be seen), a ‘lethal composite bow’ as well as extra-terrestrial tech. And New York is still a sandbox if one scored with riverbeds, marshland and covered by sunlight-choking, rainforest canopies.
If you can’t wait to get your hands on that bow, a pre-order copy of the game called The Hunter Edition is available now, which will net you some XP boosts and the bow and all its attachments for multiplayer earlier than other players.
In all, it looks like familiary territory for series fans, but attractive nonetheless. Keep it here for further details, when they decloak.
'Crysis 3' return to New York explained: 'It wasn't to cut corners'It seems that even Crytek weren’t the biggest fans of Crysis 2 and thought that something didn’t feel right for a gameplay formula that worked well with organic, open-world environments. From the words of Crytek boss Cevat Yerli, Crysis 3 will have more in common with 2007’s debut title than of last year’s New York-set, Crysis 2.
While communicating with fans on Twitter, Yerli was quizzed whether Crytek aims with Crysis 3 to bring back the open world environments that made Crysis 1 very popular. Of which, his reply wasn’t a straight-forward yes the new game is a sandbox shooter. Nonetheless, fans of the original title should be excited to read Yerli’s statement.
“Crysis3 will be more a spiritual successor in gameplay to Crysis 1 instead of Crysis 2,” he said.
Elsewhere, a message perhaps grew ridiculously old and we nearly heard it a gazillion time in the past few years; Crysis 3 will apparently push the boundaries in terms of technical performance on consoles, yet will be “clearly ahead” on the PC. Is that only some PR gibberish, or Crysis 3 will be that good? Being fans of Crysis we definitely hope for the latter.
"Actually the reason we wanted to do this was because when you know an area and feel at home in it, and you come back and see that it's completely not what you know it for, it's actually emotionally more powerful than if you come back to a location that you haven't seen before and see that it's overgrown," he told Digital Spy at an EA press event.
"A good example is if there's a war going on and your home city gets bombed, then that'll make a bigger impact on you if you return than if it's a city that you have never been in before.
"Because we wanted to take such a leap visually from Crysis 2 to Crysis 3, we thought doing this within the same setting would be more empowering than if we'd done it in a difference place. Which we could have done because it's not more work, it would have been the same thing."
Hoejengaard added: "Also New York obviously is such a known location, and because Americans feel strongly towards New York, seeing this thing happen to the NASDAQ or Empire State Building is going to resonate very strongly with a lot of people."
Announced last week, Crysis 3 sees Prophet discovering that the city has been encased in a 'Nanodome' by the Cell Corporation.
The dome has created a natural environment within the city, adding a rainforest, swamplands and rivers, as well as seven distinct locations named the Seven Wonders.
