Arcade mode unlockables:
Beating arcade mode with Ragna, Rachel, Hakumen, and v-13/Nu unlocks their Unlimited form.
Beating arcade mode with everyone besides Ragna, Rachel, and v-13/Nu, unlocks their Astral Heat. Those three are excluded because they start the game with theirs like arcade the version.
Arcade mode change:
You no longer have to fight and beat Boss Ragna after Nu to get Ragna's ending. After beating Nu it cuts right into Ragna's ending. Setting the system function to arcade doesn't change it to the way it was in arcade either.
The System Option:
In the option menu there is a system option that changes the game between arcade style and console style. Here are a few changes between the two:
-Bang's vocal theme after Furinkizan activation only happens when set to Console.
-Console exclusive Astral Heats are of course only available when set to Console. If you have them unlocked on arcade mode they still show up in the movelist but they won't work.
-Boss/Unlimited characters can only be selected when set to Console
I'm pretty sure the system option does a few more things than the following but we'll probably have to really play around with the game some more to see what else it does.(Does the arcade setting restore some of the arcade glitches?)
Astral Heats and that system option in the options:
Ragna, Rachel, and v-13/Nu start the game with their astral heats, but everyone else has to beat the arcade mode to unlock theirs. Also you have to have the system function in the options menu set to CONSOLE for their AHs to be usable in game because like touted their AHs are console exclusive(at least for now anyway).
Things to know about story mode:
-None of the fights are timed so you don't have to worry about those weird time conditions we saw in GGX+ and GGXX&AC's story modes.
-Also you don't have to worry about any clear this fight with your health in this area stuff either.
-All fights except for the last fight in the last story mode are 1 round wins.
-Difficulty in the options menu does affect the AI in story mode. So you can always lower that if you are having trouble.
-Astral Heat finishes are not required for anything in the story mode. THE END of that.
-I'm pretty sure that every fight against v-13/Nu she is in her unlimited form.
-MAKE A CHECKLIST FOR YOURSELF. CHRONICLE EVERY FIGHT AND HOW YOU WON THAT FIGHT AND LIST IF YOU LOST THAT FIGHT OR NOT. I'd love to help people out with their percentages but pretty much all the answers I an really give are just throwing questions and suggestions as to which option or which fight they didn't beat or lose.
-Also I advise checking the JP Blazblue wiki:
http://www40.atwiki.jp/blazblue/ their story mode guide is pretty good if you can decipher it and picked up a few tips from it as well.
Unlockables:
- You have to get a clear on the initial ten story modes to unlock Hakumen and Nu's story.
- Once you get a clear on the initial ten and Haku and Nu's you will unlock the True Ending/True Story story mode.
- YOU DO NOT UNLOCK Astral Heats or Unlimited/Boss versions of characters by 100% story modes. These have to be unlocked by playing arcade mode. See the arcade unlockables above. Thanks to Shardz for correcting the Astral Heat error and Darkness57 for the Unlimited/Boss versions error
- 100% a character's story mode unlocks an interview with their JP voice actor(there is no ingame translation for the interviews)NOTE: Jin and Noel are exception's to this rule. See below.
- 100% Noel and Nu's story modes for the interview with their voice actor
- 100% Jin and Hakumen's story modes for the interview with their voice actor.
- 100% all of the story modes to unlock interview with the JP voice actors for Kokonoe, Makoto, Tsubaki, and Valkenhayn.
NOTE: 100% Nu and Hakumen will not give you their voice actors. Nu will get Jubei's voice actor. Hakumen will get Hazama/Terumi's voice actors. The reason for this is because of storyline purposes. Nu, Noel, Saya cloning nonsense and them sharing the same voice actor. Along with Jin = Hakumen and them sharing the same voice actor
NOTE: You don't have to lose any of the fights to get 100% for the true ending. Just beat it.

Arakune - Solve Equation
1. Eat Tager, Taokaka, and Ragna, pick the first option after Taokaka, and beat Hakumen for Clear End.
2. Do not eat one of those three characters, pick the first option after Taokaka, and beat or lose Hakumen or lose to Hakumen. ALT 1
3. After beating Taokaka pick the second option. Beat or lose to Noel. ALT 2
Unlock art 1 on startup
1. Tager. If you lose to Tager, you will get a game over.
2. Eat or spare. You must eat Tager to get the clear end.
3. Taokaka. If you lose to Taokaka, you will get a game over.
4. Eat or spare. You must eat Tager from before and eat Taokaka, to get the clear end.

You will still get the Clear End for it though, even if you don't fight Hakumen. I can't double check this because my file is already complete, but I'm throwing it out there in case someone might get stuck.

Not sure because for the longest time I kept doing what I did to get that Clear End earlier but I was getting a game over. After clearing a shitload of other stories I came back and got the CLEAR END using the above path.

1. Ragna vs Boss Rachel.
2. Ragna vs Jin. He has infinite tension. There is no save point between the Boss Rachel and Jin fights.
3. Ragna vs Hakumen.
4. Boss Ragna vs Hakumen. He will have infinite tension There is no save point between the two Hakumen fights. You start this fight with around 10-15% health.
5. Noel vs Nu. Noel has infinite tension.
6. Boss Ragna vs Nu. Nu has infinite tension. This last fight of the entire story mode is the only match to use the first to 2 wins setup like normal game.
